Almost all U.S. equity investment categories had a solid second quarter in 2014, and are now nicely positive at the half-way point in the year. Goldilocks must be very pleased; nothing is too hot, nothing is too cold. Nonetheless, more and more commentators are stating that the “easy money has been made.” In reality, making money is never easy, which is why we are reminded of the Warren Buffett quote above.
