Five hundred years ago if you had meat, such as pork, it was a special treat. As a result, when visitors came over you might hang your bacon to show it off. It was a sign of wealth that a man could bring home the bacon. If your guest was important, you might cut off a little to share. Then, you would sit around and chew the fat. Although some might contend that our advice contains more bull than pork, the close of the 2015 year seems like a good time to share some thoughts.
