Overview of Position

We are looking for a solutions‐oriented team member. The Client Account Administrator is responsible for implementing and improving internal processes related to client accounts. Duties may include but are not limited to the following: opening new accounts, managing account administration, monitoring account activity, fulfilling client requests, and resolving administrative issues. This client service role is dedicated to ensuring that client activities are completed in a timely and accurate manner. The position sets the tone for many areas of the organization every day. It requires a deep understanding of internal systems and the ability to manage client expectations. Organization and the ability to prioritize client requests is crucial in this role.

Primary Goals and Supporting Responsibilities

  • Monitoring client account transactions daily, and identifying all resulting action items
  • Communicating priority client needs to Client Service team and following through on all items
  • Processing changes to account registrations, investment strategy or restrictions in client accounts
  • Onboarding new accounts, identifying potential issues and elevating when necessary
  • Communicating with all involved parties (custodians and internal departments) to resolve account administration issues
  • Creating and maintaining account information in Argent’s CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Preparing client review materials for high net worth and institutional clients
  • Performance reporting for the firm’s institutional client base
  • Supporting the Client Service team in other areas as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience, Education and Professional Designations
    o Minimum of 4 years’ experience in financial services or a related industry
    o Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
  • Skills
    o Familiar with concepts, practices, and procedures for client service and account administration in the Financial Services field
    o Exceptional organization and communication skills, attention to detail, and time management skills
    o Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
    o Experience with Salesforce and Advent/AXYS is preferred, but not required
    o Interest in learning new systems
