Our Team

Ward serves as Director of Research, supporting Argent’s investment team across portfolio construction, risk oversight, and analyst development. He acts as the bridge between the investment team and the rest of the firm, translating investment work into insights and commentary for clients and internal partners.

Ward brings more than 30 years of capital markets experience. Before joining Argent in 2013, he was an Equity Execution Consultant at Instinet LLC, working directly with institutional investors. Earlier in his career at Bridge Trading Company, he held a series of roles, ultimately serving as Co-Head of Institutional Trading. During that time he helped build the firm’s international brokerage business from its UK office, giving him a working knowledge of global market structure.

Ward earned a B.A. in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University.
