Our Team

Scott serves as Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager and brings over 29 years of investment industry experience. As CIO, he leads the investment team and oversees the consistent application of Argent’s investment philosophy and process across all strategies, with particular focus on discipline and long-term perspective through varying market environments.

Scott also serves as Portfolio Manager for the Argent Large Cap and Dividend Select strategies, playing a central role in portfolio construction, investment decisions, and risk management.

Scott joined Argent in 2000 as one of the firm’s earliest employees. He has held multiple roles across the firm, from operations to investment analysis, giving him a thorough grounding in Argent’s process, culture, and client relationships.

Scott holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He is a CFA charterholder and an active member of the CFA Institute and the St. Louis Financial Analysts Society. He serves on the University of Missouri-St. Louis Finance Advisory Board and on the board of Hope Happens.
