Investment Outlook – Winter 2023

10 January 2024

The adage, ‘The more things change, the more they stay the same,’ was a central theme at Argent’s 2023 Winter Investment Outlook. The past has proved to be a reassuring guide for the current investment landscape. Inflation, war, housing, labor strikes, and a looming recession all maintained a powerful presence in 2023. However, when viewed through the lens of history, these challenges can appear less daunting. The market has demonstrated time and again the truth of the saying: this, too, shall pass.
